Each individual cabana is designed with health, safety, and fun in mind. Kitty Island’s abundance of windows creates exciting views for bird, duck, and squirrel watching. Radios and TVs for cat entertainment and a complimentary souvenir are just the beginning to your cat’s stress-free cat vacation. Providing consistent loving care for your cat’s comfort and your peace of mind is rewarding and a real privilege. We at Kitty Island are always grateful for your confidence and trust.

Our Policies
Requirements:
1. Kitty Island vacationers must be six months old, spayed/neutered, in your home for 3 months minimum, have a primary vet with proof of current vaccinations and flea control.

2. Records are required to confirm Reservations.

3. Deposit is required to hold reservations for first time islanders. A 48-hour cancellation notice is required to avoid a cancellation fee.
​
4. A refundable deposit is required with 5-day cancellation notice for Major Holiday reservations.
​
5. All vacationers must be in a cat carrier at the time of check in and check out to ensure their safety.
​
6. All carriers must be taken after checking in to Kitty Island.
​
7. All check-ins and check-outs by appointment only.
Flea Control Requirements
1. All Cats visiting Kitty Island must have flea control protection. Flea control must be administered at least 24 hours before arrival. Absolutely NO EXCEPTIONS!
2. Topical products such as Advantage, Revolution or Seresto collars are acceptable control methods. This will ensure that everyone comes and goes without fleas. If flea dirt or fleas are present, Flea Medication will be administered at $30.00 a dose.
3. Kitty Island wants all cats to enjoy their vacation. We appreciate your confidence in us, your cooperation, and understanding to help keep Kitty Island a safe, healthy, and stress-free environment for your feline family member.
